Working with our resident chef, ‘Big Cook’, your ‘Little Cooks’ will design and create cakes, sweets and chocolate treats while learning about the processes involved and where different foods come from.

Join our resident dance team to choreograph and create your very own dance piece. Young people will work together to choose music and practice a dance of their choice.

Young People contest using our specially adapted bowling equipment. choosing from ten pin or carpet the game is on!

Young people will design, make and then decorate a truly mouth watering variety of cakes.

Working with our partners at Hamworthy Outdoor Centre young people will take part in a whole days worth of water activities including canoeing and motor boating. Please note a change of clothes will be required and this activity requires an additional cost of £10 per child.

Get down and jam! Young people will be able to experiment with a Varity of adapted instruments before creating a unique musical sensation! As they learn about rock music they will be able to explore different genre and styles in their journey through the musical ages.

Working with our resident cook young people will have fun decorating a variety of chocolaty treats and cakes with some very seasonal ingredients! All produce will be available for parents to sample at the end of the day!

Football camps are always very popular and we are pleased to offer expert tuition for young disabled people. Using our expert and experienced coach’s young people will learn skills before taking part in games and competitions.

Young people will experience a range of multi sensory floor based activities. Supported by our trained one to one staff every child will be able to access this exciting range of games.

Take advantage of our specially heated hydrotherapy pool with adapted changing facilities and experienced staff that are used to running fun and safe activity sessions in this environment. (Don’t forget your swimmers & towel).

In the year of the Olympics and Paralympics young people will experience sports that are local to some of the countries visiting London in 2012! All activities are adapted where needed and only the most fun are choosen!

Young people will be given a spooky scenario to which they must design and produce their own musical score! They will have all our specialist equipment and staff to help them and the winner will be announced at the end of the week.

Young people will take advantage of our specially adapted facilities to look at how plants grow from seeds, this is a multi sensory experience with plants chosen due to their smells and textures.

Using their skills as map readers and navigators, teams will solve clues and hunt down the treasure that lies around the centres accessible grounds.

Young people will have to face spooky challenges to help their team progress in this adventurous quest.

Hockey camps are always very popular and we are pleased to offer expert tuition for wheelchair users. Young people can enjoy and experience the sport in its newest form which uses wheelchair skill and stamina to move around in this fantastic game.

Young people will enjoy this large outside based game competing against friends and staff to hunt the clues and solve the cryptic challenge!

Participate in fun sports including Zone Hockey, Wheelchair Football, Boccia, Table Cricket and much more. All activities are provided in our state of the art facilities and led by experienced Instructors who are used to making all sports accessible and safe.

Teams of young people will use their skills to solve problems requiring team work and communication. Once all challenges are solved they must use the clues provided to find their prize!

Young people will have the chance to use the specially computer adapted sensory room which will be set up to celebrate the spring and Easter time. The session will be lead by our youth care workers and specialist sensory staff who are all used to working in the environment.

Learn all about spy techniques as well as experimenting with equipment and counter espionage. The activity culminates in a spy challenge where you will get to use all the skills you have learnt to outwit the enemy!

Young adventurers will work with a specialist artist to learn new skills and ways of moving to the beat. They will put together their own routine to showcase at the end of the session.

Young people will use a whole range of different games and activities to test their aim and skill while competing against friends and staff!

New for 2012 we are giving young people the opportunity to take part in our Pilot overnight camping experience.
Young People will camp close to the main school site and be supervised at all times by our highly skilled and qualified Youth Care workers. All the normal facilities will be available for use overnight.
During the camp young people will play games and enjoy BBQ style food before settling down to a night under the stars. This experience is available at a supplementary £50 charge and young people should be able to be comfortable on an air bed style mattress. We are only available to offer a limited number of places on these camps which will be offered on a first come first served basis.

Using the now famous TV theme this fast and furious activity will require a test of speed, skill and balance. Young people will enjoy many specially adapted races and activities but be warned its likely you will get wet! Please note a change of clothes will be required.

Working with our partner, the British Water Ski Foundation Young people will have the opportunity to try specialist taster days in Water Skiing. All sessions are supervised by fully qualified instructors who are used to working with young people with disabilities, all young people will be fully supported by our Youth Care Workers on these activities.

Using our Hi Tec sensory environment, Young People will take a journey on bob sleigh, skis and toboggan on the journey into the winter sports world.

Using a host of different numbered materials available in these cold months, YP will produce and experience their own unique art piece.

This interactive session is designed to get young people thinking about the seasons while they act and produce a winter performance of their choice.
